Last fall, I was burning out on client work. (It happens, even when you love your job.)
So a photographer friend and I grabbed our kids, tossed them in the car, and set off to explore a little spot by the side of the Neuse River.
It was just what the doctor ordered.
Macy was nine and had just gotten her glasses. I didn’t want her to feel like I didn’t like the glasses (because I do), but I had to grab just one without because I found myself missing her beautiful face.
And Claire, my gosh, she looks so little in these photos. That gappy grin has since filled in, and she’s all the more grown up for it.
I ended up making an album out of these images, and I treasure it so. I’m sharing some of the album spreads here because one, I’m lazy like that. And two, my album is packed away and I miss it!
